Macaroni and Cheese
Cook a package of Mueller’s macaroni. While it is warm, add a beaten egg
and milk, salt and pepper and mix well. [The egg has to be beaten and
mixed well with milk, else it will cook into a hard boiled egg when
added to the warm macaroni. Yuck!] Add as much cheddar cheese as you
like. The cheese should be cut into fairly small chunks, so it melts
easily. Mix all again. Place in oven, preheated to about 350. If you
cover the macaroni, the dish will be kinda’ soft and mushy. If you don’t
cover it, the top layer of macaroni will be kinda’ hard to chew. It is
good covered for awhile, then uncovered to brown a bit.
