 In the name of God Amen this teenth day of October in the year of our lord God one though seven hundred & ninety, I George Holmes of Duplin County in the state of North Carolina being at this time sick and weke of body but of sound mind & memory prased be god for the same and coling to mind the mortality of the body & that it is appointed unto all men once to die do constitute and make this my will in maner & form following that I do say first and principaly of all to give and bequeath my sole in to the Hand of All mithy God that give it to me & my body I recommend to the Earth from whence it came to be buried in Christan like maner at the discretion of my Executors Hear after to be mentioned & as to my wordly goods which it has pleased God to bless me with in this life I give and divide in manner and form following to with ? my will and divine that alll my lawful debts be sattisfide.

 ITEM : I send to my beloved wife Kea Holems all my estate boath real & parsanal during her natural life to raise my young children.

 ITEM : It is my will and desire after the death of my wife that all my land shod be equally devided between my five sons that is to say Hardy Fredrick Willian George and John Holems.

 ITEM : It is my desire that all my parsanable estate shall be equally devided between my teen children after the death of my beloved wife.

 I do nominate and apoint my three sons Hardy Holems, Frederick Holems & Wm Holems Executors to ? last will and testament.

 I do also dis anul all other wills by me hear to fore bin made. I acknowledge this to be my last will & testament in witness hear of I have hear unto set my hand & fix my seal the day have been mentioned in the presense of
