According to census records, Susan TEACHEY (b. ca. 1823 as a daughter of Jacob TEACHEY Jr.) apparantly married a Jackson THOMPSON and had at least one child (Enoch W. THOMPSON, b. 1849). Susan was later married to a Jackson EVANS and had at least three more children (Nancy EVANS, b. c1853; Joseph Hill EVANS, b. c1855; Isaac K. EVANS, b. c1857). Were the two husbands (both named Jackson) really the same man? Who was the father of Susan's older two children (Frances TEACHEY, b. 1839; Owen Thomas TEACHEY, b. 1846)? Who was Susan's mother (Nancy?) ?

a#BREELERBREELERa#BRELANDBRELANDa#BRULERBRULERm#WOODCOCKWOODCOCK posted by Edward Breland on Monday, January 19, 1998

I am researching BRELAND (BREELER) in Pitt County NC (In 1755 it was part of Beaufort County) The general area is Tyson's Creek off of Tar River. Abraham (the Father of the following) Amos and James BREELER ( Abraham's brother). In Anson County I am looking for Jacob BRELAND and/or his son Elisah BREELER OR BRULER (BRELAND). The name was spelled several ways during the 1700s.

I am also researching WOODCOCK and I believe William WOODCOCK was in or near New Hanover County. I am not sure if it was the current smaller sized county or the larger area. He would have lived there in the years after the Rev War until mid 1780s when he moved on to Barnwell County, SC. He had several children that were born there.

Anything that you find would be an addition to my data and I thank you for the offer and anything you find in advance.

cMy great, great, great grandfather's name was Lemuel WILLIAMS of Onslow County. He was born in February of 1800 and was married to either Ann or Nancy COX. Her name could have been Nancy Ann COX. It is thought her parents were Charles and Sara COX. we believe Lemuel's father's name Was LemueL WILLIAMS also and he was possibly married to "Elizabeth." I have not been able to trace this family any further back. I have found quite a few land sale records for Lemuel WILLIAMS around 1830 which mention the names, MUMFORD, GREGORY, BASDEN. Thank you for any information you may have. I would also appreciate any information anyone may have on Drury HALL of Onslow County. The name could possibly be spelled Drewry. He was the father of Solomon HALL of Duplin County and the husband of Blanche THIGPEN. Solomon HALL lived in the Hallsville area of Duplin County, but I cann't connect him to the Hall family trees already in existence. Thank you,
