Submitted by Sloan Mason The Republican March 26, 1811 Twenty-Five Dollars REWARD! RAN AWAY From the subscriber in Duplin County, on the first of December last, a Negro Fellow names Dick, nearly six feet high about twenty-two years of age, of a dark complexion, stout and well made, and by trade a Carpenter--has a scar on his upper lip. He was some days ago seen lurking about Newbern, where his father lives, and is no doubt still there at this time, or in the County of Lenior, where he was raised. A reward of Twenty-Five Dollars will be given to any person who shall take up said Negro and deliver him to the Subscriber or Twenty Dollars if taken and confined in Jail.
