    ,O m15 April 1793 DUPLIN COURT MINUTES
     
    Appointed JOSEPH DICKSON guardian to MARY MOLTEN, orphan of JOHN MOLTEN, 
    deceased. He gave bond of $1,000. with approved security of JOHN DICKSON and 
    JAMES PEARSALL. Ordered he take her estate into his possession whereever it 
    can be found in the State.
     
    Appointed JEREMIAH PEARSALL, guardian to SARAH MOLTEN, orphan of JOHN MOLTEN, 
    deceased. He gave bond of $1,000 with approved security of JOHN
    DICKSON and JAMES PEARSALL. Ordered he take her estate into his possession .
     
    Appointed THOMAS JAMES, guardian to ELIZABETH MOLTEN; KATHERIN MOLTEN, and 
    THOMAS MOLTEN, three orphan children of JOHN MOLTEN, deceased. JAMES gave bond 
    of $3,000 with approved securities JOHN DICKSON, JOHN JAMES, and THOMAS HOOKS. 
    Ordered he take estates of said children into his possession.
     
    Last will and testament of RIGDON BRYAN, deceased. Exhibited and proved by 
    JOHN DICKSON and KEDAR  BRYAN, one of the executors of said will, qualified. 
     
    Last will and testament of PATRICK NEWTON, deceased. Exhibited and proved by 
    MAURICE MOORE, and JAMES REARDON and MARY NEWTON, the last two Executors of 
    said will qualified.
     
    Receipt from ELEAZOR CAMPBELL to MICHAEL CAMPBELL for Adm'r. of WILLIAM 
    CAMPBELL, deceased, proved by HENRY STEVENS. Ordered recorded and is as 
    follows: State of North Carolina, Duplin County. This day JOHN ROGERS SR. 
    appeared before us. THOS. HOOKS and FREDERICK BARFIELD, two of the Justices 
    for the County aforesaid made oath on the Holy Evangelist of Almighty God that 
    he the said ROGERS being brother to the Mother of a  certain ELEAZOR CAMPBELL 
    here present, said ROGERS further sayeth that the said ELEAZOR CAMPBELL is the 
    Eldest Brother of a certain WILLIAM CAMPBELL who enlisted in the Continental 
    Service and there continued while the siege of Charles Town and there was 
    killed and further sayeth that MICHAEL SULLIVAN of the County aforesaid did 
    administration of the estate of above mentioned WILLIAM CAMPBELL. (Signed)

    Test. THOS. HOOKS, FREDERICK BAREFIELD, Jan. 8th 1793. Then received of 
    MICHAEL SULLIVAN, 7 pounds, it being in full of all my right, title, claim and 
    demand in and of the said estate of the above mentioned WILLIAM CAMPBELL.

    SULLIVEN. 
     
    Inventory of the estate of MARY QUIN, deceased, exhibited by Adm'r and also 
    account of sale amounted to 56.0.4 pounds exhibited. Ordered recorded.
     
    Inventory of the estate of JOHN BONEY, deceased, exhibited by Adm'rs. Ordered 
    filed and recorded.
     
    As JAMES MAXWELL, JOHN  DICKSON and WILLIAM MCCANN were appointed a Committee 
    to value and divide the estate of JOHN BONEY, deceased, between the widow and 
    orphans and to lay off the widow her share, said committee reports they have 
    proceeded to value said estate, agreeable to a list herewith rendered and 
    filled: to the amount of 319.10.8 pounds. They gave the widow 79.17.8 pounds 
    out of the articles valued being 1/4 part and her receipt therewith for same: 
    The committee did not value the corn and meat intended for the family's year's 
    provision as the widow agreed with the
    Administrators to feed and cloath the children for one year for the 
    Provisions, cotton,  ___,  which was provided for the family's consumption. 
    Court concurred and ordered  also that the Administrators of JOHN BONEY, 
    deceased, pay JANE BONEY, widow of said deceased the 3rd part of personal
    estate of JOHN BONEY, dec'd. , one of the orphan children of said JOHN BONEY.
