Act to Alter Election Location ~ 1813
An Act to alter the place of holding one ofr the separate elections
in the county of Duplin
Be it therefore enacted by the General Assembly of the State of North
Carolina, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That
the separate election heretofore established at the house of Shadrack
Stallings in the county of Duplin for the purpose of electing
representatives to Congress, representatives to the General Assembly,
and Electors to vote for President and Vice President of the United
States, be in future held at the new house at the forks of the roads
on the land of William Stokes in said county, under the same rules,
regulations and restrictions as other separate elections are held
in said county.
