Obituary of Willis Woodrow Norris ~ 1980

Mr. Willis W. Norris, 67, of 722 Parkway, Blvd. died Monday morning 
following a brief illness in Cape Fear Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Norris was born in Duplin County on Dec. 26, 1912 and was the son of 
the late J.M. and Ann Cavenaugh Norris. He retired in 1977. Mr. Norris was 
a member of the Sunset Park Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Virginia Mobley Norris of the home; a son, 
Michael R. Norris of Fort Lewis, Wash.; a brother, Kenneth Norris of 
Wallace; a sister, Mrs. Horace (Hilma) Roberts of Topsail Island and a 
grandson, Reid Norris of Fort Lewis, Wash.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Coble's Oleander 
Chapel with the Rev. Horace Jackson officiating. Interment will be in 
Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at their home, 722 Parkway Blvd.
Memorials may be sent to the Sunset Park Baptist Church, Building Fund.
