Wilbert Joseph Herring, age 78, died Tuesday, September 12, 2006. 
Funeral service was held Wednesday, September 13 at Tyndall's Funeral Home 
in Mount Olive. 
Burial followed at Wayne Memorial Park. 
Survived by: wife, Jean Goodman Herring of Mount Olive; daughter, Debbie 
H. Outlaw and husband Tim of Calypso; 2 sons, EmmettHoward Herring and 
wife Peggy of Florence, South Carolina and Joe Herring of Mount Olive; 
sister, Mamie Herring Nix and husband Jay of Mount Olive; 5 grandschildren 
and 3 great-grandchildren. 
Preceded in death by: parents, William Howard and Pearl Baker Herring; 
grandson, Scott Herring; 2 brothers, Oscar Herring and Earl Herring; and 
2 sisters, Lillian Herring Rouse and Louise Herring Potter.
