Obituary of Wade Arthur Bullard ~ 1992

Waynesville -- W. Arthur Bullard, 86, of 109 Meadow St., died Tuesday, 
Dec. 1, in a local hospital.
A native of Wilmington, he was a member of First Baptist Church of 
Waynesville. He retired as a supervisor of Seaboard Coastline Railway.
He was a member of Haywood Boosters Club, former member of Waynesville 
Kiwanis Club and had served as treasurer of the United Way.
He was married to Mildred Bullard who died in 1991.
Surviving are a son, W. Arthur Bullard Jr. of Vass; two daughters, Josie 
Henson of Clyde and Nancy Denney of Waynesville; one brother, Harris 
Bullard of Whiteville; two sisters, Annie V. Kelly of Wilmington and 
Ruby Parker of North Kingstown, R.I.; eight grandchildren, four great-
grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Garrett Funeral 
Home. Dr. Wright Spears will officiate. 
Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the 
funeral home. At other times the family will be at the residence.
