Richlands - Vera Barbee Thomas Gray, 90, of Richlands, died July 28 at 
Onslow Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in 
Richlands with the Rev. Roy Parker and the Rev. Norman Aycock officiating. 
Burial will follow at Onslow Memorial Park.
Survivors include her son, Johnny O. Thomas and wife Susan of Richlands; 
two daughters, Susan "Sue" Thomas of Atlantic Beach and Mary R. Thomas of 
Jacksonville; a brother, Bruce "Buddy" Barbee of Richlands; and a twin 
sister, Dera Barbee Jarman of Raleigh; a grandson, Chris Thomas and wife 
Tiffany of Wilmington; four nieces, Frances Shingleton, Maxine Belk, Nell 
Rush and Frances McDowell; a nephew, Jere Fountain; and a dear friend and 
caretaker, Hannah Humphrey of Richlands.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service at 1 p.m. in the 
fellowship hall of the church.
