Obituary of Rubena Norris Mobley ~ 1978

Mrs. Rubena Norris Mobley, of 1021 Parkway Blvd., died Tuesday evening 
in New Hanover Memorial Hospital following a recent illness.
She was born in Duplin County on January 14, 1924, the daughter of the 
late David Hardy and Luola Cavenaugh Norris.
Mrs. Mobley was a member of the Sunset Park Baptist Church and was owner 
of the McGrath Music Shop.
Surviving are her husband, Delmar R. Mobley of the home; three daughters, 
Mrs. Andrea Taylor of Raleigh, N.C., Mrs. Larine Cutrell of Wilmington 
and Miss Karen Beth Mobley of New York, N.Y.; a son, Delmar R. Mobley Jr. 
of Wilmington; two sisters, Mrs. E.B. Clark of Hampstead, N.C., and Mrs. 
Laura Register of Wallace, N.C.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the 
Chapel of Andrews Mortuary by the Rev. Horace L. Jackson.
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
