Obituary of Queen Victoria Cavenaugh Potter ~ 1956

Funeral services for Mrs. Queen Cavenaugh Potter were to be held from the
home of her daughter, Mrs. B. O. Smith of Adamsville with whom she made
her home. Burial was to be in Wayne Memorial Park. She died Saturday at
9:55 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pink Hill, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Betty Howard
Cavenaugh and wife of the late John Potter. She was a member of Calvary
Baptist church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. J. W. Pascall of Newport News, Va.,
Mrs. L. M. Huffman of Rocky Mount, Mrs. Wilbert Perry of LaGrange, Mrs.
Frank Miller of Raleigh and Mrs. Smith; two sons, Herman of LaGrange and
John Horace Potter of Goldsboro; 12 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs.
Josephine Aldridge of LaGrange; three brothers, Woodley of Wilmington,
Frank of Jacksonville and John of Wallace.
