Obituary of Peter Wood ~ 1971

Chinquapin - Pete Wood, 75, died Monday at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Wood family 
cemetery with the Rev. J. W. Bock officiating.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Laura W. Wood; two daughters, Mrs. Allen 
Rivenbark of Wallace and Mrs. Henry Eberhart of Miamesburg, Ohio; two 
sons, John William Wood of Chinquapin and O. K. Wood of New Bern; nine 
grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Frank Cottle, H. L. Sanderson, Jr., James Earl 
Lanire, Jimmy Bowen, Travis Bowen and Robert Bowen, Jr.
The body will be at the family home Wednesday until the time of the service.
