Obituary of Norwood Carroll "Bill" Padrick ~ 1992

Norwood Carroll "Bill" Paderick, 79, of Kinston Rt. 5 died Sunday at 
Lenoir Memorial Hospital after a period of declining health. 
He was retired from Hampton Industries where he was employed as a 
carpenter. He was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. 
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday from Howard-Carter Funeral Home with 
the Rev. David Paramore and the Rev. Archie Ratliff officiating. 
Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Sadie Cauley Paderick; two sons, Billy 
Paderick of Seven Springs and Jeffery Paderick of Kinston; four sisters, 
Joyce Faye Lanier of Beulaville, Grace Sutton of Seven Springs, Ann 
Henderson of Landenberg, Pa., and Alice Taylor of Albemarle; four 
brothers, Leo Paderick of Troutville, Va., C.D. Paderick of Portsmouth, 
Va., C.Y. "Scoot" Paderick of Gates and Elwood Paderick of LaGrange; 
three sisters, Thelma Preast of Hamlet, Margaret Mason of Raleigh and 
Jane Smith of Tulsa, Okla.; and six grandchildren. 
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Howard-Carter 
Funeral Home and other times at the home. 
Memorials may be made to the ALS Association, North Carolina Chapter, 1301 
N. Salem St., Apex, N.C. 27502.
