Obituary of Ned Leon Mills Sr ~ 1961

Watha -- Ned L. Mills, 63, of Watha died Sunday morning of a heart attack 
while attending church services.
Mills, a retired mail carrier was a life-long native of Pender County and 
a member of the Methodist church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Watha Methodist 
Church and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. C. Franklin 
Grill will officiate, assisted by Rev. Henry Chestnut and Rev. A. C. 
Wheeler.
He is survived by his widow, the former Daisy Webb; seven sons, Gene of 
Raleigh, Julian of Willard, Robert of Jacksonville, Fla., Milton and 
Kenneth of Wilmington, and Jerry and Harry of the home; three step sons; 
Robert and James H. Price of Charlotte and Ray Price of the home; one step 
daughter, Mrs. LYnn Rooks of Watha; four brothers, Marcus Mills of Wallace,
Phillip, Abraham and Issac Mills of Willard; two sisters, Mrs. Henry 
Corbin of Wilmington and Mrs. Matthew Teachy of Wallace and five 
grandchildren.
