Obituary of Melvin Ray Holmes ~ 2004

MAGNOLIA -- Melvin Ray Holmes, 65, died Thursday. 
He was preceded in death by his son, Lonnie R. Holmes; and sister, Lillie 
B. Benson.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Community Funeral Home 
Chapel, Beulaville. 
Visitation will follow. Burial will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at East Duplin 
Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy M. Holmes of Magnolia; two daughters, 
Dawn Lynn Moody of Magnolia and Kaye Lynn Pate of Magnolia; brother, 
Preston Holmes of Kenansville; and one grandchild.
Arrangements are by Community Funeral Home of Beulaville.
