Obituary of Mattie Cavenaugh Huffman ~ 1972

Richlands -- Funeral services for Mrs. Mattie Cavenaugh Huffman, 83, who 
died Sunday, were held at 2 p. m. Tuesday from Johnson Funeral Chapel. 
Rev. Richard F. Ezzell officiated and burial followed in the family 
cemetery. 
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Bryant Heath of Jacksonville, Mrs. 
George Amabile of Swansboro and Mrs. William Wellert of Lakewood, Colo.; 
four sons, Thurman, Garland and A. J. of Richlands, and Drayford Huffman 
of Jacksonville; a brother, Johnnie Cavenaugh of Dunn; a sister, Mrs. 
Bessie Daughtry of New Bern; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
