Obituary of Mary Louise "Pat" Rogers Deitz Swain ~ 1987

Mrs. Mary Louise (Pat) Deitz Swain, of 51 Holland Drive, died Friday in 
New Hanover Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Duplin County on June 15, 1922 the daughter of the late 
Kirby and Dollie Mobley Rogers.
Mrs. Swain was a member of the Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church and had 
served as correspondence secretary with Womens Aglow.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth E. Swain Sr. of the home; two sons, 
Jimmy G. Teachey of Castle Hayne, N.C. and Richard R. Teachey of 
Wilmington; four grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Stallings and 
Mrs. Violet Hatcher, both of Wallace, N.C.; nine brothers, Linwood Elmo 
Rogers of Charleston, S.C., Charles Thomas Rogers of El Torro, Calif., 
Clarence H. Rogers of Florida, Ralph D. Rogers, Daril J. Rogers, Kirby 
S. Rogers, Jr., and David Earl Rogers all of Wallace, N.C., Roy James 
Rogers of Jacksonville, N.C., and Lloyd C. Rogers of Savannah, Ga.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 o'clock in the Chapel of 
Andrews Mortuary by Rev. Steven J. Mattis. 
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at their residence, 51 Holland Drive, Castle Hayne, 
N.C.
