Obituary of Mary Magdaline Moore ~ 1960

Mrs. Mary Magdaline Moore departed this life Tuesday February 23, 1960 at 
10:10 P.M. She was one of eight children born to the late Edmund and Matilda 
Swinson, 1878.
 
She was the widow of Mr. William Richard Moore. They were united in holy 
matrimony March 13, 1897. To this union ten children were born, four daughters 
and six sons.

She was a very devoted mother and was kind to everyone she met.

She united herself with the Saint Peters Holiness Church at a very early age. 
She was very religious a faithful worker in the church. After she became 
unable to attend church her conversation was, that she was still working for 
Lord. She will be missed, but we know our lost is heaven's gain.
 
She leaves to cherish fond memories: six children, Mrs. Louise M. Bass and 
Mrs. Annie Beulah (Walter Lubie) Glaspie of Magnolia, NC, Mrs. Lillie Mae 
Chestnut and Mr. Earnest (Lucy Mae) Moore of Philadelphia, PA, Mr. Robert 
(Martha) Moore, Mrs. Rebecca (Hubert) Hall of Bronx, New York. Twelve 
grandchildren and one great-grand, and a host of other relatives and friends.
