Marion Bradshaw of 5349 Ridgewood Heights Drive, Wilmington, N.C., died
Tuesday, December 14, 1993 at his residence.
He was born in Wallace, N.C., on December 31, 1912, the son of the later
Abner Faison and Beulah Cavenaugh Bradshaw.
Mr. Bradshaw was a member of Southside Baptist Church, where he was a
Deacon and a member of the Hall Memorial Sunday School Class. He was also
a member of St. John's Lodge #1 AF&AM. Mr. Bradshaw was the owner-operator
of a barber shop in Wilmington for more than 43 years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Register Bradshaw of the home; his
daughters, Mrs. Jean B. Sullivan and husband, Frank, of Leland, N.C., and
Mrs. Catherine B. House and husband, Mike, of Wilmington, N.C.; two
sisters, Mrs. Edna Paul of Wallace, N.C., and Mrs. Emily Casteen of
Wilmington, N.C.; three grandchildren, Deborah Johnston, Abby Willetts and
Aaron Heffner; and four great-grandchildren, Lisa Mintz, Jennifer
Willetts, Crystal Johnston and Jeffrey Johnston.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 1993, in Andrews Mortuary, Market Street Chapel, by the Rev. Ron Bryan, the Rev. Vincent Wall and the Rev. James Pollard.
Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Ray Chestnutt, Jack Willie, Randy Burton, Richard Paul,
Glen Cavenaugh and Ottis Cavenaugh.
Honorary pallbearers will be Leon Sullivan, Don Fink and the members of
the Hall Memorial Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in Andrews
Mortuary, Market Street Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 810 Princess St.,
Wilmington, N.C. 28401.
