Obituary of Maria Estelle Aldridge Mitchell ~ 1979

Mrs. Estelle M. Mitchell, 71, of Kinston Rt. 2 died Thursday at her home. 
She was a housewife and member of the Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. 
Services will be held at 3 p. m. Saturday from the Howard and Carter 
Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. David Paramore officiating. 
Burial will follow in Pinelawn Memorial Park. 
Survivors include three sons, William K. "Red" of Kinston Rt. 2, Norman 
Ray of Dover and Larry Thomas Mitchell of Kenansville; two daughters, 
Mrs. Hazel Marie Walls of Greenville and Mrs. Lynwood Deaver of Kinston; 
four brothers, Johnny Aldridge of LaGrange, Tommy Aldridge of Los Crusis, 
Mexico; Burl Aldridge of LaGrange and Rufus Aldridge of Kinston; a sister, 
Mrs. Zelle Macon of Greensboro; 24 grandchildren; and four great-
grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p. m. Friday at 
the funeral home. They will be at the home of William "Red" Mitchell at 
Kinston Rt. 2.
