Obituary of Lucy J Hanchey English ~ 1975

Wallace - Mrs. Lucy Hanchey English, 82, died Monday evening in Duplin 
General Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Edgerton Funeral
Chapel conducted by Rev. John Allen and Rev. Billy Toler. 
Burial will follow in Little Creek Cemetery.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Vada Cavenaugh of Wallace; three brothers, 
Pearlie Hanchey, Albert Hanchey, and Wilbert A. Hanchey, all of Wallace.
A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Columbus and 
Julie Teachey Hanchey and was the widow of Leavie Curtis English.
Casketbearers will be Charles Hanchey, Albert Hanchey Jr., Sammie 
Cavenaugh, Terry Hanchey, Frank Cavenaugh, R. C. Cavenaugh and George 
Allen Hanchey.
The family will be at the W. A. Hanchey residence, Rt. 3, Wallace.
