Obituary of Lucy Callie Moore Anderson ~ 1975

Watha - Mrs. Callie Moore Anderson, 76, died Monday at her residence in 
Watha.
Born April 23, 1899, she was the daughter of the late Timothy and Ellen 
Gurganous Moore.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the Watha 
Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church with Dr. Ruth K. Moore and the Rev. 
A. C. Wheeler officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Baptist Church 
cemetery.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dallas (Theresa) Maddron of Winter 
Park, Fla., Mrs. Corbett (Elaine) Holder of Goldsboro, and Mrs. Albert 
(Rachelle) Dail of WIlmington; a son, Maurice Anderson of Watha; a sister, 
Mrs. Theatus Gurganous of Watha; twelve grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Melvin White, Gene Mills, David Moore, Edward Moore, 
Marvin Anderson and Jimmy Anderson.
The body will remain at the Quinn-McGowan Funeral Home until 1 p.m. when 
it will be taken to the church.
