Obituary of Lillian Cavenaugh Alexander ~ 1975

Rose Hill - Mrs. Lillian Cavenaugh Alexander, 94, died Saturday in Duplin 
General Hospital, Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Rose Hill 
Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Eddie Morris, Rev. 
David Smith and Rev. Austin Wheeler. 
Burial will follow in the Cavenaugh Cemetery, Rt. 2, Wallace.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Marie C. 
Chestnutt, with whom she made her home.
A native of Duplin County, she was the daughter of the late Quincy and 
Margaret Alice Savage Cavenaugh and was the widow of Mack Alexander. 
She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Pentecostal Holiness Church, near 
Fayetteville.
Visitations will be at Edgerton Funeral Home in Wallace until noon Monday, 
when the body will be taken to the church.
The family will be at the residence of Mrs. Marie C. Chestnutt, South 
Elm Street in Rose Hill.
