Wallace - Leadie Curtis English, 88, died Saturday morning in Duplin 
General Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. from the Charity United 
Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. J. B. Helms Jr. 
Burial will follow in the Little Creek Cemetery with Masonic rites.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Hanchey English.
A native of Duplin County, he was the son of the late Monroe and Nancy 
Burton English. A retired farmer, a member of the Charity United Methodist 
Church and a member of Wallace Masonic Lodge # 595.
Active pallbearers will be Frank Cavenaugh, R.C. Cavenaugh, Sammy 
Cavenaugh, Charles Hanchey, Terry Hanchey, and Albert Hanchey Jr.
Visitations from Edgerton Funeral Home in Wallace until 1 p. m. Sunday 
when the body will be taken to the church.
The family will be at the Wilbur A. Hanchey residence, Rt. 3, Wallace.
