Obituary of Katie Elizabeth Cavenaugh Teachey ~ 1968

Burgaw - Mrs. Katie C. Teachey, 82, of Watha died Wednesday morning 
following a brief illness in Pender Memorial Hospital.
She is the widow of Isaac Teachey.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p. m. from the Watha 
Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. Collier, pastor, and the 
Rev. A. C. Wheeler. 
Interment will follow in the Watha Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include three sons, Aubry T. Teachey and James Q. Teachey of 
Jacksonville, Fla. and Elbert C. Teachey of Watha; a daughter, Mrs. 
Cathrine T. Padgett of Watha; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Alexander of Rose 
Hill and Mrs. Millie Hanchey of Richmond, Va.; 16 grandchildren and 18 
great grandchildren.
