Obituary of Juanita Anderson Rouse ~ 1974

Rose Hill - Mrs. Nita Anderson Rouse, age 78, of Rt. 2 Rose Hill, died
Saturday in New Hanover Memorial Hospital in Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the Northeast
Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Billy Toler and
the Rev. J. D. Brown. Burial will be in the Clay Hill Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. E. A. (Doris) Lanier of Wilmington; two
sons, Gilbert C. Rouse of Wauchula, Fla. and Jimmy Rouse of Rose Hill;
eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A native of Pender County, she was the daughter of the late James Monroe
and Emily King Anderson and was the widow of Carson Rouse. She was a
member of the Northeast Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Chester Rouse, David Rackley, Hugh Rouse, Gerald
Hanchey, Levon Sandlin, and Bobby Cavenaugh. Honorary will be Roscoe
English, Dewey English, R.A. Batts, Waitus Harrell, Albert Lanier, Leland
Teachey and Offie Cavenaugh.
Visitation at Edgerton Funeral Home in Wallace until 9 a.m. Tuesday when
the body will be taken to the church.
