Obituary of John Raymond Teachey ~ 1976

Rose Hill - John Raymond Teachey, 70, died Monday at Duplin General 
Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Edgerton 
Funeral Chapel in Wallace, conducted by Rev. John White. 
Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Edith Wallace Teachey; one son, Donald 
Teachey, of Washington; one sister, Mrs. Earlie Mae Smith of Kenansville; 
one brother, Mr. Clifton Teachey of Portsmouth, Va.; one grandson.
A native of Duplin County, Mr. Teachey was the son of the late John and 
Dora Cavenaugh Teachey, and was a retired painter and a member of the 
Rose Hill United Methodist Church.
Casketbearers will be: Jim Brown, V. D. Wilson, R. B. Wallace, Clifton 
Wallace, Stanley Smith and Sidney Smith.
