Obituary of Jack Brock Swinson ~ 2004

Jack Brock Swinson, 64, of Rt. 2, Ewing, Va., died Wednesday morning at 
Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tenn.
The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Tyndall 
Funeral Home in Mount Olive. 
Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Swinson was a native of the Mount Olive area and was the son of the 
late Emmett Lee and Lucy Brock Swinson. A U.S. Army veteran, he was a 
retired truck driver and was a member of Dudley Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Lyn Bailey Swinson of the home; a daughter, 
Jerri Swinson Wilson of Henderson; two brothers, Robert B. Swinson of 
Mount Olive and Eldridge L. Swinson of Florida; four sisters, Jane Swinson 
Ziers of Florida, Nell Swinson Burch of Mount Olive, Glenda Swinson 
Honrine of Dudley, and Patricia Swinson Ezzell of Dudley; and two 
grandchildren, Amber Wilson and Kevin Rose.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jackie 
Lynn Rose; two sisters, Peggy Brock and Barbara S. Henderson; and a niece, 
Janey Rakestraw.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Tyndall 
Funeral Home.
