Magnolia - Mrs. Isabelle Wood Sanderson, age 86, of Route 1, Magnolia, 
died early Monday morning, April 27, at Duplin General Hospital in 
Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Dobson 
Chapel Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Randy Cowan and the Rev. 
James W. Johnson. Burial will follow in Golden Grove Cemetery in 
Kenansville.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. LeMar (Eva) Ketelsleger of 
Kenansville; one son, H.L. Sanderson Jr., and wife, Virginia, of Magnolia; 
two sisters, Mrs. Susie Holliday of Wilmington and Mrs. Minnie Prescott of 
Sumter, S.C.; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A native of Duplin County, Mrs. Sanderson was the daughter of the late 
John Andrew and Mary Catherine Lanier Wood and was the widow of Henry 
Lawrence Sanderson Sr. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club, a 
longtime correspondent for the Wallace Enterprise, a former member of 
Masonboro Baptist Church and was a member of Dobson Chapel Baptist Church.
Casketbearers will be Larry Sanderson, John Kilpatrick, Steve Kilpatrick, 
Billy Kilpatrick, Kelly Porter and Bill Nance.
The family will receive at the Padgett Funeral Home in Wallace from 7 to 9 
p.m. Tuesday and will be at Mrs. Sanderson's residence, Route 1, Magnolia, 
other times.
The body will remain at the funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday when it 
will be taken to the church to lie in state one hour prior the service.
