Obituary of Ida F Sanderson ~ 1957

Burgaw, Mar. 2 - Mrs. Ida F. Sanderson, widow of the late Richard 
Sanderson of Burgaw, died at the home of her daughter, in Rose Hill, 
Saturday after several months of illness. Born in Duplin County; she was 
a daughter of Stephen and Carolina Burton Cavenaugh.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Burgaw Presbyterian Church 
Monday at 3 p.m. by the Revs. P. L. Clark, Julian Motley, and Wade 
Allison. The body will remain at the Quinn-McGowan funeral home in Burgaw 
and will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. 
Burial will follow in Rockfish Cemetery in Wallace.
Mrs. Sanderson is survived by four children by a former marriage, two 
daughters, Mrs. W. T. Blanchard of Rose Hill, Mrs. Samuel T. Noel of 
Hampton, Va. two sons, H. P. Flynn of Baton Rouge, La. and W. D. Flynn of 
Richmond, Va.; one sister, Mrs. W. S. Faber of Richmond, five brothers, 
Stacy, Frank and Gaylor Cavenaugh of Duplin County, Preston of Clayton and 
Robert Cavenaugh of Richmond; 10 grand children also survive.
