Obituary of Horry Lee Sanderson ~ 1971

Wallace - Harry Lee Sanderson, 70, died Thursday in New Hanover Memorial 
Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Northeast Pentecostal 
Free Will Baptist Church by the Rev. K. D. Brown, the Rev. David Connert 
and the Rev. Ralph Jernigan. Burial will be in Cavenaugh Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Batts Sanderson; four daughters, 
Mrs. Willie (Hazel) Cavenaugh of Winston-Salem, Mrs. Lacy (Lois) Moore of 
Wilmington, Mrs. Peggy Brinkley of Goldsboro and Mrs. Louise English of 
Wallace; six sons, Homer of Wilmington, J. B. Roy C. and Bradley C. 
Sanderson, all of Wallace, Johnny Allen Sanderson of Chinquapin and Dan C. 
Sanderson of Charleston, S. C.; one brother, Johnny Sanderson of 
Jacksonville; 20 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Harry Cavenaugh, Jimmy Moore, Jimmy Thompson, Glenn 
and Danny Sanderson and Steve Brinkley.
Visitation will be at Edgerton Funeral Home until noon Saturday when the 
body will be taken to the church.
