Obituary of Gertrude Johnson Rouse ~ 1995

Gertrude Johnson Rouse, 92, of Senior Citizens Village, Dunn, died Tuesday 
afternoon in Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital.
The Johnston County native was a daughter of the late Alsey Budd and 
Alenia Parker Johnson and the widow of Arvad M. Rouse Sr.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Skinner Funeral Home 
by the Rev. Curtis Tatum. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Anne R. Peede of Greensboro; a son, A. 
Merrill Rouse Jr. of Rockville, Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth Neighbors 
of Route 1, Benson and Mrs. B.F. Faulkner of Gainesville, Fla.; six 
grandchildren, Beth Warren of Greensboro, Trudy McCarthy of Greensboro, 
Diane Martin of High Point, Richard M. Warren of Charlotte, Pamelia R. 
Wilshire and Susan R. Forgione, both of New York.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday at Skinner 
Funeral Home.
