Obituary of George Leamon Rouse ~ 1967

Wallace - George Leamon Rouse, 55, of Rt. 2, Rose Hill died Thursday night 
after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3 p. m. in Charity 
Methodist church by the Rev. Al Morris of Magnolia and the Rev. John 
Roberts, former pastor now of Faison. Burial will be in Clay Hill Cemetery.
He was a son of the late Alfred James and Annie Blanche Rouse.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Wilma Bostic Rouse of the home; one 
daughter, Mrs. Nancy Rouse Payne of Chapel Hill; one son, Charles Alford 
(Al) Rouse of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Aldred Robinson of the home; 
Mrs. Verda Wells of Wallace and Mrs. Vera Wilson of Wilmington; a brother, 
A. J. Rouse Jr. of Hyattsville, Md.
Visitation will be at Edgerton Funeral Home until one hour prior to the 
service.
Pallbearers will be Chester Rouse, Lester Caison, Norman Whaley, Theodore 
Rouse, Cecil Worsley and Boyce Fussell.
