Obituary of Estelle Teachey Southerland ~ 1976

Teachey - Mrs. Estelle Teachey Southerland, 79, died Saturday afternoon 
in Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, from the Edgerton Funeral 
Chapel in Wallace with the Rev. John Allen officiating. 
Burial will follow in the Pin Hook Cemetery in Teachey.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Martin of Wallace; one sister, 
Mrs. Viola Carter of Teachey; one brother, Rufus H. Teachey of Teachey; 
five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A native of Duplin County, Mrs. Southerland was the daughter of the late 
Cicero and Mary Brice Teachey. She was the widow of William J. 
Southerland and a member of the Island Creek Baptist Church.
Casketbearers will be Forrest Teachey, Tommie Carter, Mike Sholar, Allen 
Glenn Sholar, Jimmy King and Archie Carter.
