Obituary of Emma Rogers Padgett ~ 1971

Wallace - Mrs. Emma Rogers Padgett, 81, died Tuesday morning in New 
Hanover Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at 
Edgerton Funeral Chapel by Rev. Volney Bryan and Rev. K. D. Brown. 
Burial will be in Powell Cemetery.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Graham Clements, Richmond, Va., Mrs. 
Claude Henderson and Mrs. Paul Garvey, Wallace and Mrs. Russell Brown, 
Wilmington; one son, Charley Padgett, Pompano Beach, Fla.; two brothers, 
Heath Rogers, Goldsboro and John Rogers, Elizabeth City; 22 grandchildren 
and 23 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bobby, Donald, James and Morris Brown and R. C. and 
Roger Henderson, Willie Garvey and Glenn and Drew Padgett.
