Obituary of Elsie Myrtle Savage Morse ~ 1986

Mrs. Myrtle Savage Morse of 201 S. 58th Street, died Monday morning in 
New Hanover Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Duplin County, N.C., on July 28, 1900, the daughter of 
the late Ernest and Percilla Savage.
Mrs. Morse was a member of Oleander United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Robbins of the home; one son, Charles 
D. Morse, Jr. of Wilmington, N.C.; one brother, Joel Savage of Wilmington, 
N.C.; three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Batten of Lilesville, N.C., Mrs. Ann 
Billings of Ormond Beach, Fla. and Mrs. Nora Carr of Wilmington, N.C.; 
three grandchildren, Charles D. Morse III, Donna Robbins and Wendy Robbins.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. in the 
Chapel of Andrews Mortuary by Rev. Bruce Stanley. 
Interment will follow in Nelson Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening 7 until 8 p.m. at Andrews 
Mortuary.
