Obituary of Duncan Malone Lanier ~ 1968

Wallace - Dunk Mack Lanier, 75, of Rt. 1, Chinquapin died Saturday. 
Funeral services were conducted Monday at 2 p.m. at Edgerton Funeral 
Chapel. Burial was in the family cemetery near the home.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Jolly Pierce, Mrs. Kenneth Lanier, both 
of Jacksonville, Mrs. Cliff Russ of Wilmington and Mrs. Hugh Hunter of 
Chinquapin; one sister, Mrs. Cornelia Alcock of Wilmington; two brothers, 
Frank and Onsby Lanier, both of Chinquapin; fifteen grandchildren and 
twelve great-grandchildren. He was a retired farmer, a member of the 
Bethel Presbyterian Church and a life long resident of the Lyman Community.
