DORIS M. MARTIN

Pink Hill—Doris Mae Martin, 72, of Rt. 1 Box 112D, died Wednesday at home.  
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Pink Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert 
Bucknam officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery.  She was a 
member of Pleasant Hill Christian Disciplines of Christ.  She was survived by 
her husband, Herbert S. Martin of the home; two daughters, Carolyn Johnson 
and Judith Young of Burgaw; one brother, Harold Jones of Winston-Salem; 
one sister, Esther Walters of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren and two 
great-grandchildren.  The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. 
at Pink Hill Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
