Obituary of Clyde M English ~ 1980

Wallace - Clyde English, 90, Rt. 2, Wallace, died Wednesday afternoon in
Bladen County Hospital in Elizabethtown after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the Edgerton
Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Timothy Creel and Rev. Rupert Rivenbark.
Burial will follow in the Cavenaugh Cemetery, Rt. 2, Wallace.
He is survived by four sons, Harry English of Burgaw, LeRoy English of
Philadelphia, Pa., James English of White Lake and Homer English of
Wallace; one brother, Dock English of Wallace; 13 grandchildren, and 11
great-grandchildren.
A native of Duplin County, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ada
Bradshaw English. He was a retired farmer and had been a lifelong resident
of the Wallace area. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1954.
Casketbearers will be George Parker, Norman English, Mike English, Mark
English, Bryan English and Lee English.
The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Homer English, Rt. 3,
Wallace.
