Obituary of Clyde Rivenbark Batts ~ 1983

Chinquapin - Mrs. Clyde Rivenbark Batts, 81, died early Friday morning in 
New Hanover Memorial Hospital in Wilmington after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Edgerton Funeral 
Chapel in Wallace, conducted by the Rev. Phillip Denton. 
Burial will follow in Rockfish Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Bernard "Jack" Batts Jr. of Temple Hill, Md., 
two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A native of Duplin County, Mrs. Batts was the daughter of the late John 
Edward and Beulah Bostic Rivenbark and was the widow of Bernard "Ben" 
Batts.
She attended Sharon Baptist Church in Chinquapin.
Casketbearers will be Roy Norris, Hosea Horne Jr., Norman Horne, Thomas 
Marapese, Edwin Futrell and D.C. Futrell.
The family will receive at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
