Obituary of Charity Ida Savage ~ 1959

Mrs. Ida Savage, 78, died at her home at Chinquapin Sunday afternoon. 
Funeral services were conducted Monday at 3 p. m. from Sharon Baptist 
Church by the Rev. Johnny Durham.
Burial was in Cavanaugh Cemetery. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. 
Rowland Thigpen of Ivanhoe, Mrs. Laura Brock of Beulaville and Mrs. Sarah 
Henderson of Raleigh; two sons, Levi of the home and Isaiah of Myrtle 
Beach, S.C., a sister, Mrs. Charlie Carter of Wallace; fourteen grand 
children; nineteen great-granchildren.
