Carl Elmore "Jack" Thigpen, age 79, died Friday, September 29, 2006. 
Funeral was held MondayOctober 2 at Faith Independent Baptist Church in 
Magnolia. 
Burial followed in Devotional Gardens in Warsaw. 
Survived by: wife, Rachel Thigpen of Magnolia; 2 daughters, Winnie T 
Haddock of Hookerton and Judy T Leonard of Kenansville; 2 step-daughters, 
Mona Hope of Rose Hill and Teresa Bostic of Sumner, Washington; 2 
step-sons, Robert Branson of Puyallup, Washington; 2 sisters, Marie 
Malpass of Goldsboro and Annie Lois Sutton of Scotts Store; 4 
grandchildren; 9 step-grandchildren; and 5 step-great-grandchildren. 
Preceded in death by parents, Roland and Viola Carter Thigpen.
