Obituary of Betsy Wood Lanier ~ 1967

Chinquapin -- Mrs. Betsy Wood Lanier, 64, died Thursday. 
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Edgerton Funeral 
Chapel in Wallace by the Rev. Edwin Carroll. 
Burial was in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery in Chinquapin. 
She was a member of the church. 
Surviving are her husband, Fennell Lanier; two daughters, Mrs. Rowland 
Stuart of Wilmington and Mrs. Edwin Futrelle of Chinquapin; six sisters, 
Mrs. Pete Wood and Mrs. Archie Lanier, both of Chinquapin, Mrs. Corbett 
Pierce of Wallace, Mrs. Henry Sanderson of Magnolia, Mrs. R. J. Holladay 
of Wilmington and Mrs. C. M. Prescott of Sumter, S. C.; one grandson. 
She was a native of Duplin County and a life long resident of the 
Chinquapin Community.
