Bessie Delphia Whaley Howard, age 98, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006.
Funeral was held Thursday, July 20 at Smith's New Home Church followed by
visitation.
Burial was Friday, July 21 at Howard's Cemetery in Deep Run.
Survived by: 3 daughters, Jessie Lee Harper and husband Virgil of Kinston
and Shirley Howard Cauley and Delphia "Sis" Howard Davenport both of Deep
Run; son, Adolph "Bud" Howard, Jr and wife Mary Lou of Deep Run; 4
grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Adolph Howard, Sr and parents Felix and
Serena Howard.
