Obituary of Arthur Clayton Albertson ~ 1990

Arthur Clayton Albertson, age 84, of Route 1, Harrells, died Tuesday 
morning, March 6, at Pen-Du Rest Home, Route 2, Wallace, after a 
lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 8, at 2:00 p.m. from the 
Padgett Funeral Chapel in Wallace, conducted by the Rev. Donald Coley. 
Burial will follow in Rockfish Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by three brothers, Drew Albertson, Milton Albertson, and 
Tommy Albertson, all of Harrells ; two nephews, Harry Albertson of 
Harrells and Jimmy Albertson of Willard.
Born in Lyman, Mr. Albertson was the son of the late Owen Quincey and 
Lula Cottle Albertson. He was a retired farmer, a veteran of World War 
II, having served in the U.S. Army, and had been a resident of the 
Harrells area for many years.
Casketbearers will be Edward C. Bowen, Henry Mathis, Jimmy Moore, Mack 
Johnson, Jack Bowen, and Bob Bowen.
The family received at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday 
and will be at the residence of Drew Albertson, Route 1, Harrells other 
times.
