Fla.; sons, E. L. of Beulaville, Jesse Batts of Raleigh; sisters, Mrs. 
Bessie Pickett and Mrs. Annie Miller of Beulaville, Mrs. Hattie Lanier of 
Burgaw, Mrs. Lucy Harrell of Rose Hill; 10 grandchildren; nine great-
grandchildren.
