Obituary of Albert Alson Dail ~ 2000

Mr. Albert Alson Dail, 73, of Wilmington and formerly of Wallace, died 
Friday, February 25, 2000, at Cape Fear Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Dail was born March 5, 1926, in Duplin County, and was the son of the 
late Riley Hayes and Agnes Lanier Dail.
Mr. Dail attended Watha United Methodist Church. He was a shoe repairman 
in Wilmington and Wallace for forty-four years. Serving in the Merchant 
Marines and the US Marine Corps, Mr. Dail was a veteran of the Korean 
Conflict.
Surviving are his wife, Rachel Anderson Dail of the home; son, Ronald 
Alson Dail and wife, Sandra, of Wilmington; daughter, Wanda Dail Grainger 
and husband, Ernest, of Monroe, WI; and grandchildren, LaNee' Grainger, 
Melissa Grainger and Korey Dail.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at Watha United Methodist Church 
with the Rev. Karen Howell officiating.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Casketbearers will be nephews of Albert Dail.
The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Quinn-McGowen 
Funeral Home, Wallace.
