   In Duplin county, on the 10th inst. by the Rev. Alex’r McIVER, Richard 
MILLER, Esq. to Miss Mary Ann SHAW, daughter of John SHAW, Esq.
  ( The above partieshave entitled themselves to our hearty congratulations and 
good wishes, by a remembrancer in the shape of a Liberal slice of the wedding cake.)
   On the 28th ult. By J.C. BELLUNE, Esq. at the house of Major Archd DOUGLASS 
in Marion S.C. Dr. Edmund McQUEEN, of  Lumberton, N.C. to Miss Susan A. 
MOORE, youngest daughter of Charles MOORE, Esq. P.M. at  Lumberton.
   In Horry District, S.C. on the 1st inst. Mr. Allen GRIFFIN, of Robeson county, 
N.C. to Miss BRYANT, of the former place.
   In Raleigh, on the 2d inst., by the Rev. Geo. W. FREEMAN, Rector of Christ’s 
Church, Gavin HOGG, Esq. to Mrs. Sarah L. BLOUNT.
