Winder Family

1. John Winder was born circa 1645 at Somerset Co. Md.  
He married Bridget Meador who was born circa 1642 and had the 
following children: Susan born Dec. 9, 1664, Thomas born April 26, 
1666, Elizabeth January 4, 1668, Meriam born March 27, 1673, and 
John born March 7, 1676.  All were born in Somerset Co. Md. with the 
exception of Susan who was born at Nasamond, Va.   John Died 
September 23, 1698 at Somerset County Md.  Bridget also died 
around 1698 in Somerset Co. Md.

2. John Winder born March 7, 1676 at Wilcomico, Somerset, Md. 
Married Jane  Dashiell circa 1696 who was born July 30, 1675 at 
Somerset, Md. and had the following children:  Bridget born 1696, 
John born 1700, Elizabeth born 1701, Rachael born 1703, Thomas 
born 1706 and William born 1714.  John died July 13, 1716 and Jane 
died March 16, 1714.

3. John Winder born 1700 married Jean ?  had John circa 1720 and 
Elizabeth circa 1724 at Dobbs County North Carolina.  John died 
about the age of 30.

4. John Winder born circa 1720 at Dobbs County North Carolina 
Married Martha Ann Bright born 1737 at Duplin County North Carolina.  
They had the following children: John Winders Born March 1755, 
Bethsheba born 1761, James Winders born March 31, 1762, Nancy 
Ann born March 31, 1762, Catherine born 1765 at Mount Olive, Davie 
County North Carolina, Zilpha born 1766, Edward born 1767, Sara 
born 1769 and Elizabeth born 1773.  

5. Catherine Winders born 1765 at Mount Olive North Carolina married
 Elisha Jones born Feb. 20, 1761 died March 24, 1840 and had the 
following children; Sarah Sally born 1790 born at Mount Olive North 
Carolina, Daniel, Mary, Joel, Elijah, Matthew, Nancy born January 
22, 1802, died July 20, 1880 and David born July 21, 1792 died Sept.
 8, 1859

6. Sarah Sally Jones born 1790 at Mount Olive Married James 
Sullivan 1811 at Duplin County North Carolina.
